The active phase of Sea Breeze 2017 exercise kicks off today. During a week the multinational HQ on planning of naval operations planned the mentioned operation.
The HQ evaluated the situation, analyzed and developed the task, worked out maneuvers and agreed the scenario.
According to Ukrainian co-director Capt. 1st Rank Oleksii Neizhpapa, the operation will be conducted as ‘free play’ and will become a tool of transfer of the Ukrainian Navy to the NATO standards.
