On May 24, 2025, Ukraine's defense tech cluster Brave1 conducted the first in a series of trials for domestically produced fixed-wing kamikaze drones capable of striking targets over 40 kilometers away. More than ten development teams participated, simulating deep-strike missions aimed at disrupting enemy logistics, equipment, and air defense systems..

The initiative aims to create a "kill zone" extending 30–40 km or more into enemy territory, preventing force accumulation and supply chain operations. The trials also evaluated the integration of Ukrainian-made components and AI-driven software to enhance drone efficiency.

Representatives from Ukraine's Security and Defense Forces attended the event, engaging with developers and receiving detailed test reports via the secure Brave1 Chat within the DELTA system. The event was supported by Brigadier General Andriy Lebedenko, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Armed Forces' Innovation Activity Directorate.
