Ukrainian soldiers will soon be able to submit direct feedback or upgrade requests for military equipment through the Army+ app, with data forwarded directly to the manufacturer.

The new module, “My Technologies,” is expected to launch by the end of June, according to Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernohorenko in an interview with DOU.

There are currently 800,000 verified military users of the Army+ system. To submit feedback, a soldier needs only to enter the serial number of the equipment. The app will automatically identify the supplier, who must respond under a service-level agreement within a specific timeframe.

The soldier will receive a resolution directly from the manufacturer via a secure messenger.

“For example, if a drone fails 10 kilometers out and crashes, the soldier submits a ticket. The supplier might respond: ‘This happened recently in another brigade. Perform this action on the antenna.’ The solution reaches the soldier instantly,” said Chernohorenko.

The system is designed primarily for tech support, incident reporting, and tracking modernization needs.

According to Chernohorenko, the initiative serves two strategic goals:

  • To ensure that soldiers no longer need to search for support contacts.
  • To monitor how many incidents involve each supplier and how they respond.

“This will help us make procurement decisions based on real data,” she added.

Initially, the feature will be available for suppliers under official contracts with the Ministry of Defense. As Ukraine moves toward a decentralized procurement model, brigades will be able to request the inclusion of other manufacturers with direct agreements.
