Ukrainian company UkrArmoTech is developing a new tracked APC with local and foreign expertise, due by the end of 2025.

Ukrainian defense company UkrArmoTech, best known for its GYURZA-02 and UAT-TISA armored vehicles, is developing its first-ever tracked platform. According to an interview with company director Hennadiy Khirhiy for Defense Express, the firm plans to unveil a prototype of its new tracked vehicle by the end of 2025.

“We are exploring several areas for new product development, including tracked platforms — which are currently in short supply. There is no strong domestic offering of tracked vehicles, so our goal is to present a working prototype before the end of this year,” Khirhiy stated.

The upcoming vehicle will be a fully proprietary design. UkrArmoTech says both Ukrainian engineers and foreign advisors are involved in the development process. However, further technical details remain undisclosed.

Defense Express speculates that the project may be informed by the operational experience of the Ukrainian Defense Forces with foreign armored platforms — most notably the American M113 armored personnel carrier, currently the primary tracked APC in Ukrainian service.
