The Shepetivka Repair Plant handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine a next batch of repaired 122-mm self-propelled artillery units 2S1 Gvozdika (Ukrainian: 2С1 "Гвоздика", "Carnation").
Five self-propelled howitzers were handed over this time. According to Oleh Turinsky, the director of the state-owned enterprise "Shepetivka Repair Plant" (SRP), the plant was forced to stand idle under quarantine, but some of the employees involved in the execution of the state defense order performed their work in compliance with the safe regime.
In total, in the first quarter of 2020, the SRP SE shipped 20 self-propelled howitzers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including sixteen 122mm 2S1 Gvozdika and four 152mm 2S3M Akatsiya.
