Putin threatens to supply weapons to global terrorism. This was said by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment on the public statement by President of the Russian Federation Volodymyr Putin on a possible supply by the United States of lethal weapons to Ukraine.

According to him, Mr. Putin's hysterical comments on the inadmissibility of a possible supply by the US of lethal weapons to Ukraine are a "testimony to Russia's readiness to demonstratively continue financing and providing weapons to global terrorism".

"The President of the Russian Federation allows himself to threaten the United States and the international community with the fact that in the Donbas territory occupied by Russian troops, allegedly there are "enough weapons" that can be sent to any hot spot in the world, "sensitive to those who cause them problems - that is, the US", - Mr. Turchynov said.

The NSDC Secretary informed that there were no bases for storing military equipment and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions occupied by the Russian Federation. "All military equipment, ammunition, and weapons are supplied to the hybrid troops and the "Lugandon" terrorist groupings solely by the Russian Federation", - he noticed adding that the border between the occupied territory of Donbas and Russia is controlled by the Russian Federation. "That is why supplies of weapons and equipment, used by Putin to threaten the US, can only be Russian", - Mr. Turchynov noted.

At the same time, the NSDC Secretary asked, "To what US opponents Putin wants to supply weapons?" "There are not many of them today. These are worldwide terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Al Qaeda, or the North Korean regime, which is threatening global security with its missile-nuclear weapons. And it is them whom Putin wants to weaponize, hiding behind the occupation regimes of fake "republics" created by him", - Oleksandr Turchynov said.

"Therefore, - Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine summarized, - ISIS, North Korea, and Russia today stand on the same level and threaten the world security, which was recalled by Putin in his statement".
