On April 5, an unmanned aerial vehicle «Zastava» of the armed forces of the Russian Federation was shot down by one of the units of Joint Forces Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which maintains defense in the Svitlodar direction.
The Zastava UAV (licensed version of the Israeli Bird Eye 400) since 2012 is produced in the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, which is part of the United Engine Corporation of OPK Oboronprom, which is part of the State Corporation for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of Advanced Technology Industrial Product 'Rostec'. The cost of Zastava UAV is about two million dollars.
This fact confirms once again the direct involvement of the armed forces of russian federation in the war in eastern Ukraine.
