During a working trip to the Kirovohrad region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a visit to the Third Regiment of the Special Forces named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave.

The Head of State got himself acquainted with the conditions of service of the military and the regular armament of domestic production, which the regiment is equipped with.

During a conversation with foreign military instructors, the President of Ukraine thanked for the help and support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that the participation of foreign instructors in military training improves the combat skills of Ukrainian soldiers and moves our army closer to NATO.

"At the beginning of the war, our strategic Western partners did the impossible and helped our army, which was far from the current level in terms of training and equipment. We are very grateful for this support," the Head of State said.

The Head of State also honored all soldiers killed in the war in Donbas with a moment of silence.
