On August 26-28, the Ukrainian delegation, led by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Urusky, visited the Republic of Turkey and held work meetings with the host side.
During the visit, the Ukrainian delegation reviewed the production facilities of the aerospace corporation 'Turkish Aerospace Industries', the companies Aselsan, ВМС, Havelsan, Roketsan, Sarsilmaz, Baykar Makina and Turkish state defense industry company 'MKEK' (Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation), visited the Sedef Shipyard and inspected the Anadolu assault ship.
Following official talks, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the State Agency for the Defense Industry of Turkey.
Currently, SE SFTE 'Spetstechnoexport' and the Republic of Turkey are implementing a number of joint projects. The key partner of Spetstechnoexport is the Turkish company Aselsan, the country's largest defense company. A number of bilateral projects have already been implemented with this company, the largest of which was the import of radio stations for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
