In 2019, the United States of America and the European Union countries provided military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine totaling approximately $143 million.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at the request of the public project "Marlin", reports www.epravda.com.ua.
Within the international military aid, the Ukrainian Army got armored vehicles HMMWV type and Island-class boats. Besides, Ukraine got communication equipment, navigation equipment for vessels of the Naval Forces, counter-battery radars, cybersecurity means, night-vision devices, tents, portable lighting systems, personal protective equipment for personnel, mine-clearance equipment, medical equipment and various replacement parts for earlier received technical means.
As recently reported, members of Congress have been informally notified of the U.S. Defense Department's plans to provide $125 million in new military assistance to Ukraine, including armed Mark VI patrol boats.
