Ukroboronprom fosters U.S. — Ukraine partnership

The team of Ukroboronprom State Concern visited the United States, where they held a number of working meetings and bilateral talks with leading US defense companies.

The trip was undertaken in preparation for the visit of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United States and with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States together with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

“Adoption of draft law 3822 and the reform of state defense industry open up new opportunities for military-technical cooperation with our strategic partners. The steps we are offering our colleagues in the United States are: attracting investments, technology transfer and joint ventures in order to strengthen Ukraine's defense, as well as strengthening common stands in the global arms trade," General Director of Ukroboronprom Yuriy Husyev said.

The State Concern is convinced that the visit of Ukraine's President to Washington, scheduled for August 30, 2021, opens new opportunities and allows to move to a higher level of cooperation between Ukraine and U.S., especially in defense sector.
