
Canada has committed over USD 30 million this June to send additional Coyote reconnaissance vehicles and Bison armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, along with equipment and ammunition.
This recent commitment comes on top of a previous provision of 64 Coyote vehicles delivered in December 2024.
The package also includes USD 5 million designated for electronic warfare and anti-jamming systems.
Canadian Defense Minister David McGuinty announced the aid during the 28th Ukraine Defense Contact Group summit in Ramstein, highlighting Canada’s role as a NATO founding member and its commitment to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Since February 2022, Canada has pledged over CAD 19.5 billion (~USD 15 billion) in total aid to Ukraine, including CAD 4.5 billion (~USD 3.5 billion) in military support.
