У понеділок Нідерланди передадуть Україні 24-й F-16 Final Dutch F-16 fighter jet to be officially transferred on May 26, according to Ruben Brekelmans.

On Monday, May 26, the Netherlands will officially complete the transfer of all 24 F-16 fighter jets pledged to Ukraine.

This was confirmed by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans during a broadcast of WNL op Zondag on May 25.

According to the minister, the final Dutch F-16 will be formally handed over to Ukraine on Monday.

“This means that all 24 promised fighter jets will soon be present in Ukraine,” Brekelmans said.

He noted that beyond the transfer of aircraft, the Netherlands is also training Ukrainian pilots and technicians and sharing military doctrines.

“This way, Ukraine can build a modern military that aligns with the armed forces of NATO member states,” he added.

The Netherlands, Denmark, and Belgium are key participants in the international fighter jet coalition supporting Ukraine’s Air Force. The first Dutch F-16s designated for training were sent to a center in Romania in November 2023.
