Experts of the Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine are participating in the joint NATO-Ukraine Tabletop Exercise “Coherent Resilience” on countering hybrid threats to critical infrastructure in the Black Sea region, which will be running in Odesa this week.
The exercise is part of the decision approved by NATO foreign ministers in Washington in April 2019 to support Ukraine in tackling hybrid challenges in the Black Sea region.
The exercise is conducted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in cooperation with the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and with the support of the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School within the framework of the NATO-Ukraine Platform on Countering Hybrid Warfare.
The purpose of the exercise is to build the stability of the system of state bodies of Ukraine in the field of countering hybrid threats and crisis response by strengthening interagency and civil-military cooperation, planning and ensuring preparedness.
