Pilots of the 831st Myrhorod Tactical Aviation Brigade got awards for best displays at The Royal International Air Tattoo — 2017 held on July 14-16, 2017 in the UK.
Static and dynamic displays were provided by two Su-27s and il-76 transport aircraft.
Sukhoi Su-27P1M pilot Col Oleksandr Oksanchenko of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade, Ukrainian Air Force, from Myrhorod air base, performed dynamic program. Speaking through an interpreter, Oksanchenko said: “Thank you very much for your hospitality, your partnership and to all the guys who organise the Royal International Air Tattoo. A very high standard is set, and we are very happy to be here. Everything is well organised. The English weather made some corrections but we displayed a good result.”
